Well-known Auckland foodie Michael Dearth comes here for lunch with his wife, which is how I scoped this incredible Japanese restaurant that sits unassumingly on New North Rd. I met a Kingsland local for lunch who has been loving this place for a long time and I was blown away by the freshness and attention to detail. If you only get one thing, try the miso ... And the chicken .... And the rice. Oh heck, well everything really because it's that good. A new #foodfave!
